| Can anybody help me please? |
Hi. Quick question. Long time ago I had a CD that featured the original version of 'Positive' by Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy but I've lost it. Thought it may have been on a B-side of a single but I can't seem to find it. I saw DH a long time ago in Glasgow and Michael did a short set in Tower Records before that show and I think there was a CD givaway there. Can any fan help me get a hold of this please. Ty. Craig, Glasgow. |

I took a trip down to Washington last month and I listened to everything from "home" all the way to "everyone deserves music" and it is all pretty good, but I think Stay Human is the best work so far. Rock the Nation is one of the greatest songs of all time.

Cool. Email me your address and I'll send a copy to your house. It is a GREAT CD. I'm still listening to it constantly. I will send you my address too, I have a peace jacket that has buttons and stickers from all around and I would be very honored to add a friendship button from you on it.

Oh, and Manda,
That must have really owned to see Radioactive in a small club setting like that. All of Spearhead rocks. I can't get over how goodf the music AND the lyrics are. Who knew a live band could rock hip hop like this. It's not like the Roots or Rage Against the Machine or anything that's come before. (I wonder if they tour with a violyn section :)

hey all out there id just like to let everyone know about the most amazing concert ive been to. the spearhead crew came to perth in western australia about a week ago now, they were fantastic but the best bit was the night before the concert at a local pub, while whatching some up and coming rock bands a guy jumped up on stage and showed us his beatbox talents... it just happened to be the one and only radioactive. it was the best!!! about 50 people sharing in one experence in a small pub in an small city in a small country! Rock on angels |

M. Franti...wow. I heard some of his music as Disposable Heros, and it blew my mind to know it was sold in the early '90s. I wish he had been on the radio. I was always an alternative type of thinker, and I would have totally bought his cds back then if I had been aware of his existance.

I went to the peace rally in Washington D.C. on October 26th. It was HUGE! There was a simultaneous rally in San Fransisco that day.
After all the work we did amassing all those people in D.C., the people in San Fran got to see a free performance by Michael Franti. Totally unfair. I demand a recount!

| Spearhead - Free Concert - Power to the Peaceful |
MICHAEL FRANTI & MYSTIC HOOK UP FOR PEACE CONCERT
Props go out to Michael Franti of Spearhead as he gets ready to mobilize and bring people together for his 4th annual 9-11 Fest. Every year in September he puts on a free concert in the Park to bring attention to Peace and Social Justice causes as well as the fight to Free Mumia... In the past it was known as 9-11 Festival. This year his annual concert for will go on but the name 9-11 Fest is being downplayed for obvious reasons. However the line up and the cause 'Power to the Peaceful' is being highlighted. On the bill will be Mystic, Jello Biafra and some surprise superstar guests. In the past everyone from The Coup to Digital Underground to Talib have performed. The concert usually draws around 10 thousand people. Last year it was so large as more then 15 thousand folks showed up. Hence the event had to be moved from Dolores Park in San Francisco's historic Mission District to Golden Gate Park which is the Bay's equivalent to Central Park. Currently Franti is on tour with Tre Hard of the Pharcyde and is promoting the event. An estimated 20 thousand people are expected to show up.. All this is going down Sunday September 7th 11 am -6pm at Speedway Meadows in Golden Gate Park For more info: http://www.spearheadvibrations.com/

I agree I wish they'd played a different song. Especially when I saw Radio on the mic beat-boxin' to kick things off, I was SURE they were gonna do a slightly censored version of "Rock the Nation", but oh well. I was really annoyed that the drummer sucked so bad, the performance would have really kicked ass if he knew how to keep a beat so Michael wasn't out of breath the whole time. That song has to be done slow to stay funky like it's s'posed to be. Anyway, I was still happy to see him on TV. Keep it real everybody and stay human.

The performance was alright. It was nice of them to play cuts off the CD all through the show. I was really hoping for a different song, but I guess that one will probably do them a bit of good in terms of attracting people who would watch Craig Kilburn.
